I could barley walk without pain, how in the world was I going to do exercises? In order to get in the car I had to lift my leg up. I was sure I needed a hip replacement, but the doctor said to try other options first. After a while the pills stopped working and I went back to my doctor. Again she recommended to try Physical Therapy. I have been suffering with this pain for over 1 1/2 years. It would start in my back and travel down. I tried a chiropractor which consisted of 15 minutes and the relief would last a day or two. I finally tried Physical Therapy and boy was I wrong. When I arrived at the facility, I was evaluated, I was given exercises, and got a massage. The therapist was reassuring and very helpful. With each visit, the pain subsided more and more. I noticed I was getting stronger and more flexible. Now I take fewer pain meds and sleep through the night. I continue to do exercises at home to keep in shape. I can't thank everyone enough at Mid-Island Physical Therapy for all of your help. I was always greeted with a smile, never had to wait and was in a friendly atmosphere. I know you are all trained to do what you do, but I like to think of you as my angels sent from God with magical hands. *You turned a skeptic into a believer!!
